Our speaker this year is Krista Docksteader from Port City Church in Halifax. Here's a bit about Krista:
Krista has been a ministry wife, serving in different churches with her husband for more than 17 years. She’s a mom of 5—3 kiddos she’s raising and 2 in heaven. She’s a teacher, turned homeschool mom, spending her days teaching her kids, doing some financial admin work from home, and serving at Port City Church. Although she misses the “oceans of wheat” from the prairies where she grew up, she has embraced east coast living for more than a decade and feels more at home dipping her feet in the ocean than anywhere else. Krista loves sitting down for long deep conversations, drinking coffee, and reading great books.
Through the ups and downs of ministry life, difficult family experiences, and every day struggles and challenges she is continuing to find hope is Christ and see Him produce in her joy in all things. She’s looking forward to diving into these things through the book of Philippians at this year’s women’s retreat.
